Privacy Notice   In order to provide Internet-based services which automate fundraising events and promote sales, eZfundraising.com collects personal data relating to the Participants who are selling the products offered. Please note that only such personal data which is necessary to adequately provide this service is collected, and that such data is kept in strict confidence by eZfundraising.com. The safety and privacy of event Participants is our #1 concern. As such, eZfundraising complies with all federal COPPA regulations with regard to the collection and use of this information. The purpose of this notice is to inform Participants and their parents exactly what data is to be collected, how it will be used, and with whom it will be shared.   Participants under 13 years of age are prohibited from registering with this site themselves. The parent or legal guardian of such children must enter the registration information on their behalf. This information will only be accessible to those listed below, and will not be divulged or sold to any third parties.   1. Definitions: A. Participant: Volunteer event salesperson (student, scout, team member ...) B. Coordinator: Fundraising event Chairperson (teacher, den mother, coach ...) C. Distributor: Company providing product sold during event. D. Customer: The person who orders a product sold through the event. 2. Data to be collected upon Participant registration: A. Complete name, address and phone number B. Team leader, teacher, classroom OR similar group identifier C. Grade level 3. Purpose of data collection: A. To provide sales reports to Participants, Coordinator(s) and Distributors; B. To provide the Distributor with the information necessary to package and ship products sold by each Participant. 4. Access to Data: A. Participant and/or Parent or Legal Guardian B. Event Coordinator(s) C. Distributor D. The Operator of the eZfundraising.com website 5. Deletion of personal data: All personal data relating to individual Participants will be permanently deleted from the eZfundraising.com website 30 days after the scheduled date of delivery of products by the Distributor to the fundraising organization.   6.   Other activities and use of data: Participants will use the eZfundraising.com website to send emails to prospective Customers inviting them to make a purchase through the site. These email addresses will be deleted from the eZfundraising.com website at the same time the personal Participant data is deleted, and will not be made available to the Distributor or any third party. Data entered by end buyers may be used by the product distributor and the fundraising organization for general business purposes.
